What we kept seeing on the factory floor
GarmentFlow was not designed in an office. It started as a fix for three things we watched happen every month.
Payroll eats three days
Piece counts on paper, advances in a notebook, a calculator and a long night. One slip and somebody is paid the wrong amount — and finding the mistake takes longer than making it.
Nobody agrees on the stock
The store keeps one number, the cutting room keeps another, and the owner finds out which one was wrong at the end of the month, when the fabric is already gone.
The owner is the system
Prices, debts, who was paid what — it lives in one person's head. When that person travels, the factory slows down, and the business cannot grow past him.

Payroll
Per-piece and monthly salary, advances by instalment, bonuses. A wrong run is voided and reversed cleanly, not patched by hand.
Production
Route work between stages, record what each stage delivered, and log shortfalls the moment they appear instead of at month end.
Stock and warehouse
Receipts, transfers between stores, sizes and colours as variants, and a screen that resolves conflicts when two people counted differently.
Sales and customers
Invoices, customer credit and supplier debt in one place, so you know who owes you and who you owe without opening a ledger.
Expenses and reports
Every birr tracked to the santim, with private expenses only the owner can see. Export anything to a spreadsheet whenever you want it.
Who sees what
Each person sees only what their job needs. Every change is recorded with a name and a time, so a disagreement has an answer.
Amharic and English
The whole system, not just the menus. Your supervisor works in Amharic while your accountant works in English, on the same data.
Offline first

GETTING STARTED
Your factory does not stop while we set up.
This is the question every owner asks first, so here is the honest answer.
We visit and look
We walk your floor, see how you record piece counts today, and look at your existing books. No software is installed yet. This tells us whether GarmentFlow actually fits you — and sometimes the answer is no.
We enter what you already have
Your staff, your products, your prices, your current stock. We do this work, not you. You check it and tell us what is wrong.
We run beside your paper, not instead of it
For the first payroll cycle you keep doing what you do now, and the system runs alongside. At the end you compare the two. If the numbers do not match, we find out why before you trust it with anything.
We train the people who will use it
Your payroll supervisor and store keeper, in Amharic, on their own phones, using your real data. Not a manual — sitting with them while they do their actual job.
You switch when you are ready
Not on a date we picked. When your supervisor says he trusts it more than the notebook, that is the day.

From 2,000 birr a month
Plus a one-time setup fee, quoted after we visit. It depends on where you are and how much existing data we enter for you — and it covers the whole of the five steps above.
The monthly price depends only on how many staff you have on payroll. Nothing else changes — every factory gets the whole system, with no limit on how many people use it.

QUESTIONS
The things owners actually ask
What happens when the internet goes down?
Nothing stops. The system records everything on the phone or computer it is running on, and syncs when the connection returns. If two people changed the same thing while apart, you get a screen showing both versions and you choose — it never silently overwrites somebody's work.
My supervisor does not read English. Can he use it?
Yes. The whole system runs in Amharic — every screen, every button, every report, not only the menus. He can work in Amharic while your accountant works in English, on the same data, at the same time.
Who can see the salaries?
Only the people you allow. Each person gets a role, and a role only sees what that job needs. A store keeper cannot open payroll. Every change is recorded with the name of whoever made it and the time they made it.
What if somebody makes a mistake in payroll?
A payroll run can be voided and fully reversed, including the advances and bonuses inside it. It is not corrected by hand or patched over — the wrong run is undone and you run it again properly, and both events stay in the record.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
It is your data. You can export everything to a spreadsheet at any time while you are a customer, and we will give you a full export if you leave. We do not hold your numbers hostage.
What if your company disappears?
A fair question to ask anyone selling you software. Your database is backed up every night, encrypted, and checked that it can actually be restored — and you can take a full export whenever you want. Ask this question of every vendor you talk to, and be careful with the ones who cannot answer it.
How long until it is actually running?
Three days to set up — entering your staff, your products, your prices and your current stock, and training the people who will use it. Then we stay close for about two weeks while you run it alongside your existing records. You switch over when the numbers match, not on a date we picked.
